Hot rods, classic cars, trucks and motorcycles will be on full display again on Sept. 26 for North Idaho College’s fifth annual Rathdrum Rumble.
The show is open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26, at NIC’s Parker Technical Education Center in Rathdrum.
The event is free to attend and open to the public. There will be food vendors on-site to purchase from.
Vehicles are $20 to register online and $30 for same-day registration. Categories include hot rod/modified, young builder, classic car, truck, import and motorcycle. Last year’s show featured about 150 vehicles.
North Idaho College's Autobody and Paint Technology program started the car show five years ago and uses the funds from the event to help send students to regional and national SkillsUSA competitions. Earlier this year, three students qualified for national competition and one took home the bronze medal in Automotive Refinishing Technology at the 2026 SkillsUSA National Leadership and Skills Conference in Atlanta.
“The Rathdrum Rumble has easily become one of my favorite parts of the year,” Assistant Autobody and Paint Technology Professor Andy Rogge said. “People in our area are really passionate about their vehicles and it’s great to be able to provide another space for those folks to share that passion with others.”
There will also be hosted tours of the Parker Technical Education Center for those interested in learning more about its programs.
